One thing you can expect from the St. Mary’s Gala is that it’s always a unique experience. We have covered many locations, themes and decades. On May 18, 2019, we’re pulling the polyester suit out of storage as we take a step into the past and re-create the world’s most famous celebrity nightclub — Studio 54.

When disco was the epicenter of popular culture, Studio 54 was the epicenter of disco. The Marshall Rec Center on the campus of Marshall University will provide an epic backdrop to the culinary masterpieces of Chef Jamison Ugland and the sounds of Bee Gees Gold, a tribute band from Las Vegas. Find your groove and join us for an incredible evening while supporting the St. Mary’s Center for Education, which consists of the Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging and Respiratory Care.

Your proceeds of the Gala support the St. Mary’s Center for Education.

Your sponsorship of the Gala provides vital funding for the many needed technological resources used to provide training and excellence to students at the St. Mary’s Center for Education. The Center for Education, which houses the Schools of Nursing, Medical Imaging and Respiratory Care, addresses the growing need for health professionals in our region. With the center reaching its 10th year in service, the need to update high-tech simulators and other training tools is vital to the competencies of each student in the classroom and the healthcare setting.

“I’ve finally realized my lifelong dream of becoming a nurse and I am very grateful to everyone at
St. Mary’s for helping me make it happen. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.”

- Julie D., Nursing Graduate
